Artwork observation workshop: “Creating my very own exhibition poster!”

System used:
digital tablets, mainframe computer, keyword cards, projector

Workshop outline (approx. 60 minutes)

1.Quick overview of the Musée du Louvre.
2.Select one Western and one Japanese portrait from among the six works depicting human figures (the former taken from collections in the Musée du Louvre) in order to create an exhibition poster. Look for points that link or oppose them and use the digital pad “pen” tool to add a catch phrase.
3. Each group of students shows their poster to the other groups, explaining the exhibition’s focal points or highlights.
